What is included in our self-catering stay?

We provide bed linen, towels, and a selection of essentials such as tea, coffee, oil, salt, pepper, toilet rolls, hair & body wash, conditioner, and cleaning products. Guests need to bring their own beach/pool towels, cot linen, and full grocery supplies.  Each house has a list of amenities on its respective page.

What are the check-in / check-out times?

Check-in is from 3 pm.  Check-out is by 10 am

Can I stay for 1 night?

Accepted Answer

Due to the accommodation size and cleaning costs, we can’t offer a 1 night stay.  You’ll want to stay longer to enjoy the facilities anyway.  We have a minimum 2-night stay and 3 nights for bank holiday weekends.  During school holidays, we also require a minimum number of nights.

What baby/children’s items do you supply?

We understand travelling with little people involves ‘stuff’! Travel cot, highchair, potty, training toilet seat, dining/cutlery and a selection of toys & books are provided.  We don’t provide travel cot bedding or a mattress topper.

Are BBQ’s allowed?

Yes! Each house has its own BBQ area. They are coal, so you will need to bring your own bag to fuel your feast. BBQ cooking utensils (non-plastic), skewers & firelighters are available in every house.  We pop BBQ’s away for the winter months (November – February)

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately not.  None of the properties or gardens are suitable for pets.

Can I book more than one house if I want to holiday with friends/family?

Absolutely!  We often have guests booking both our Beach Huts and Pear Store properties together.  They are perfect if you’re looking to catch up with another family or grandparents, but welcome your own respective houses to retreat to.  It’s worth noting that each home seats 4 people at a table, but for more informal dining like BBQs, they are perfect.

What is the WIFI speed?

While this can vary: average download is 156mbps.  Upload is 187mbps.
If there is a Wi-Fi outage, we will always endeavour to get it up and running as soon as we can.

How can I make a booking?

You can book our Beach huts house or Pear store cottage using the booking widgets on each page, or via the BOOK YOUR STAY link at the top of each page.

The Farmhouse has limited availability as it is our family home.  You can view the calendar and prices using the BOOK YOUR STAY on the Farmhouse page, which will take you to Airbnb.  We only take bookings for this property on this platform.
